The community of Fairbanks Ranch orginized an appreciation dinner for the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Dsitrict and Local Sheriffs following the 1548 acre Bernardo Fire that raced towards their homes on May 13th.  Fifty structures were theatened but not a single one was lost.
